C. Chrome Extension Usage

Our browser extension (Ugly Wyrmling VTT Export) interacts with third-party websites (specifically D&D Beyond) to automate form filling. The extension:

  • ✓ Does NOT track your browsing history
  • ✓ Does NOT read data from websites other than the specific ones required for functionality (dndbeyond.com and uglywyrmling.app)
  • ✓ Temporarily processes data on your local device to perform the requested automation tasks

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: Ensuring you can log in, save your work, and access your data across devices.
  • To Execute Automation: The extension uses your saved data to fill forms on target websites at your explicit request.
  • To Improve Stability: We may analyze anonymous error logs to fix bugs.

Zero-Sale & Non-Disclosure Commitment

  • ✓ We do not sell, trade, rent, or distribute your personal information to third parties.
  • ✓ We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any external entities, except as strictly necessary to provide the service (e.g., hosting our database on Supabase).

Chrome Extension Permissions

To function, our extension requires specific permissions. Here is why we ask for them:

activeTab

Used strictly to inject the "form filling" script into the specific page you are currently viewing when you click the extension.

storage

Used to save your login session locally so you do not have to log in every time you open the browser.

host_permissions

Used to securely communicate with our daabase to retrieve your saved monster data.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Authentication is handled via secure, encrypted tokens (JWTs) provided by Supabase. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to:
